Sevenoaks won the toss and opted to bat first in a 35 over match.

Sevenoaks got off to a great start with Rory Easton and Harry Houillion combining for a 50 run opening partnership with the latter making 35 before getting bowled. Rory Easton plowed on to make his 2nd fifty for the 1st X1. Whilst Rory anchored at one end, Nick Bett played aggressively at the other end to make a quicker than run-a-ball 48. Once the partnership ended, there was little time to rebuild, however Henry Procter and Toby Blackmore supported with handy contributions to give Sevenoaks 198 in 35 overs.

After a short lunch break, Rhys Joseph and Peter Wright opened the bowling and created some chances through swinging the ball both ways. However as the opposition batsmen played themselves in, they started to rack up the runs. As the game seemed to be getting away from us, Arthur Sackville-West took wickets in consecutive overs with brilliant catches by Peter Wright and Henry Procter. Having fallen from 92-0 to 105-2, Junior Murray Academy's opening batsmen continued on to make 78 before being yorked by Wright. The seamers continued to bowl economically at the death to leave Junior Murray Academy finishing on 176-7 in their 35 overs.

Great game and definitely our best team performance so far!
